1) it is my husband's birthday. year 1980, my mother in law gave birth to a healthy baby boy on this day, someone who crossed the seas and found me and together we started a life together. I am eternally grateful for his existence and look forward to celebrating many subsequent birthdays together.
2) year 2008, this was the day the friendship between me and my husband really began. It all started with an invitation to join me and my friends for golf practice at the Marina bay driving range. This was the day our social paths crossed and we became not just colleagues, but real friends.
3) year 2012, we were at the hospital together hoping this would be our lucky day and I would never have to get my husband another birthday present ever for his next birthdays if I gave birth to his daughter on his birthday. My daughter preferred to have her own birthday though, so this year, my husband got a pair of Nikes, a Raoul suit, a Hugo boss suit and 2 UNIQLO shirts for his birthday. ♪( ´▽｀)
So how did we celebrate? Nothing beats a quiet day of rest and relaxing, hanging out and playing with baby, indulging in boost juice, shopping and wrap it all off with a delicious home-cooked dinner by my mother in law. *･゜ﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:*･'(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)'･*:.｡. .｡.:*･゜ﾟ･*
