Try the Batards or chocolate viennois from Maison Kayser at Scotts Plaza basement. Very delicious and shorter queues than Paul's at Takashimaya. Got our bread within 10mins of queuing up on a sat afternoon.
I also love the way they label their bread in the showcase - showing Allergy: flour, wheat, eggs etc - which is helpful for people like me who are avoiding dairy products.
