MRT outrage - please let others who need the lifts use them

Encountered a family of 6 Indians (father, mother, grandmother and children) who really need to reflect on their selfish and inconsiderate actions.

1. The lift is meant for people with wheelchairs and strollers! They had none and all could walk well, so what else could it be but laziness, inconsideration and selfishness that prompt them to squeeze into the lift when there were several other MRT commuters with strollers waiting for the lifts??

2. They entered the lift which was going up when they were intending to go down. Then they squeezed the rest of us who needed to exit into a corner and didn't have the basic courtesy to move out when the lift opened so that we can exit. Again, plain selfishness and inconsideration!

3.They tried to touch my baby's hand and face without asking for permission first. Please DO NOT touch other people's babies as your hands are full of germs and what not. It is unhygienic and you should respect other people's boundaries!!! My husband immediately shouted "Please do not touch!" when they stroked my baby's hand.
Parents, we must be vigilant and not be afraid to speak up to protect what is dear to us.

Next time you want to take the lift at the MRT, take a look around you first. Are there others who need to use it more than you? Be considerate and do everyone a favor.
We speak to each other loudly to point this out whenever we encounter inconsiderate people, but it seems some of them are so dense they just don't get it. I think I have to be more antagonistic and tell them to their face in future. I don't mind being the bad guy, but probably only when hubby is around to protect me and baby as I don't want to be a blind vigilante and endanger my baby either.
